Is It Possible That a Cat Could Still Be Grieving the Loss of Another Cat That Died a Few Months Ago?

Question by felixthecat: Is it possible that a cat could still be grieving the loss of another cat that died a few months ago?
Recently this cat has been pacing the floor and crying all night. He has also become pickier about what he eats and also a little more aloof than unusual (he used to sleep with me every night and follow me all the time during the day). He and the cat that died were also very close.

Sorry man, there’s no easy answer. Just have to live on. I know it’s hard but if I were you, I’d just try to not think about it, whenever you think of her just try think of something else, after a while it’ll be easier to deal with.
