How Is Wine Viewed in European Countries?

Question by Ky Bryant: How is wine viewed in European countries?
Over here in America they paint the picture that everyone at any age drinks wine and that is why there crimes relating to alcohol are so low because it is isn’t a big deal and was introduced young. I also wondered which wine is the healthiest I forget if it is red or white wine?
Thx for the Help!

I don’t know about crimes but my fiancee (Italian) gives me the impression that binge drinking is practically nonexistent for just those reasons. Probably not everyone drinks wine growing up but is not prohibited and therefore not glamorized in the mind of the teenager. Also it takes time to learn how to drink. You need time to learn to pace yourself and find where the limit is, how much is too much. In America people don’t get a chance to do that and just go nuts when they get to the legal age.

Poem About Childhood Innocence?

Question by flower: Poem about childhood innocence?
I need a poem (by a known author) about the innocence and naiveness of childhood. The poem does not have to be directly about childhood innocence, but must have some connection to it. Thanks!

My favorite is “We are Seven” by William Wordsworth. You might also want to consider “The Child’s First Grief” by Felicia D. Hemans.
