There is no right or wrong way to deal with a death. Everyone experiences different emotions and feelings towards it. Take some time out for yourself, go to your favourite place to think and relax. Even watch a sad movie if you feel like you want to cry but can’t. Remember to take your time in this process. Look at photos of the cat and remember the memories. When you feel ready you could get another cat if you wanted.
