“Death Is Only Sad for Those Left Behind, Cause Those Who Go Are at Eternal Peace” This Makes Sense So Why…?

Question by Savannah: “death is only sad for those left behind, cause those who go are at eternal peace” this makes sense so why…?
i believe that quote, and in my head it makes perfect sense, therefore we shouldnt grieve over the loss of someone, we should be happy that they are with god and they are happy and no longer have any trouble.

in my head, that makes sense. so why cant i make my heart feel the same way? why cant i feel happy and not soo upset? is there any way?

Be sad when someone dies for a part of you has died as well. As far as your silly “they are with god” belief, they are someplace much better and REAL. The spiritual world

I love my grandma so much. She has ling cancer and is down to her final hours. I’m so sad, I wanna kill my self just to be with her, or start cutting or something. My eyes are burning because I’ve been crying for an hour and I hurt like physically. How do I help the pain stop?

My Ex Is Now Dating My “friend”..advice?

Question by Bella: My ex is now dating my “friend”..advice?
I’m 18 and he’s 17. We dated over a year and we broke up in the spring because it just wasn’t working I guess. We were each others first. He was too busy for me and he thought I was asking too much of him so he thought I was clingy and what not. When I wasn’t at all. We saw each other like once a week and barely texted and just got frustrated a lot. I was trying to be the best gf and did so much for him. He’s a laid back person where as I’m outgoing and like to treat my partner nice and take them out. He told me he wasn’t “ready” for a relationship and wasn’t gonna date again in high school….he went into this long thing saying he shouldn’t have gotten in a relatioship just yet..well I’m kinda mad he didn’t have the balls to tell me the the truth. His parents even said he wasn’t ready for a relationship. Cause he sucked as a bf!

How Do You Talk to Your Kids About Death?

Question by JAG: How do you talk to your kids about Death?
My 6 yr old daughter has always been very sensitive and intutive to a degree. Lately, she will seemingly suddenly turn to me and say (with her clear wide blue eyes) and say (lip quivering), Mom, am I ever going to die?

Of course I don’t want to lie to her but as soon as I start to gently explain the rules of life, she starts to cry and say, ‘don’t tell me that! I don’t want to! I will never die!” I’m sure she fully understands that death is something that we all will have to face but it is so frightening for her, she can’t tolerate it. She has been asking this question at various times for weeks now.
