What to Do About Someone’s Grieving?

Question by hooru: What to do about someone’s grieving?
My dad passed away 2 weeks ago and my mother just sits there and chants, rocks back and forth and won’t listen to any reasoning. Has anyone experienced this? I am worried she is going off the deep end.

Answer by Amethyst M
She is grieving, very understandably. Ask her to see a doctor to get something that will help her to relax. If you are really worried if she doesn’t eat or whatever, ring the doctor for her and ask him/her to call.

to some one who has lost there brother to suicide. I can n ot even imagin the pain

Best answer:

Answer by Sorika
simple DONT EVEN TRY to feel what they are feeling, dont push them, let them come to you, let them know your there but DONT try to force them to come to you, understand they are going through pain thats uncomparable

trust me when too many people try to force you to do stuff to get your mind off of it it just makes you even worse off

you got to let them deal with it themselves but be there so they dont feel totally alone
