Im just wondering how drinking hairspray would kill you.

Hairspray is generally bad for you if you inhale too much of it, or get a lot of it on your skin. Since it is a solution of solid nonreactive polymers in a solvent, swallowing it would not do much to you, depending on the solvent. For instance, alcohol is relatively benign, but denatured alcohol is quite toxic because of the added methyl alcohol (methanol, see below).
“Hairspray is not very toxic. Most exposures do not result in serious poisonings. How well you do depends on the amount of poison swallowed and how quickly treatment is received. The faster you get medical help, the better the chance for recovery.”
