Question by Hi V: How effective are detox drinks on drug tests?
Hello all! I don’t want a debate on “you shouldn’t smoke or do drugs.” I actually want some help here or previous experiences. I recently got offered a job and to take it I would have to submit to a drug test tomorrow. I had no clue of this and to deny the drug test would put my current job in trouble. This is all part time and isn’t really serious… I just like to smoke a little bit of ganja once in a while. I am a responsible person. I never miss work or come late. I consider pot to be like alcohol. When used in moderation its ok.

I bought one of these “detox” drinks from a local headshop. They claim they have been selling it for years with no complaints and I have heard of them working. The answers on here seem to vary from “stop doing drugs dumbass” to “dewd, like totally, they always workz” which doesn’t help much.

My family is trying to send me to a one year long rehab program because I am clinically depressed. I am currently on Wellbutrin and have had great results other than a little lost sleep. They are acting like this is a condition I am making up, and are claiming it to be a chemical dependency. Can anyone see a bright side to this? Because I’m struggling!
There are no details I am keeping out. I would not come to yahoo answers and make something up. What good would that do me? I would really just like to know if anyone can justilfy what they are saying/trying to do.

See your psychiatrist immediately. You may need something added to the Wellbutrin for sleep. This is not a situation that needs a 1 yr. rehab for unless you are not being honest.

Question by Christian Atheist: “Therapy” when you’re poor?
I listened to Loveline for so long, and Dr. Drew would always say to “get into therapy” (meaning counseling). But how do you do this? I’ve heard it’s like 60 bucks for a half hour session, and I can’t be paying that just to have someone listen to me talk.

I work full time and do have SOME extra money, but that amount doesn’t seem to make sense. Can you get 3rd party insurance or something?

How does this work? I really could use a professional to help me hash things out, I hate dumping baggage on my friends or family.

Question by Tourang B: Does anyone here find it ridiculous that when people don’t have an answer, they tell you to seek counseling?
I mean this is Yahoo! answers. It’s a cheap way of getting answers and others’ experiences and opinions. Why is it that some people find it necessary to respond to a question they have no answer to by typing: “Get Counseling” ? duh! everyone knows they can do that. It just costs a bit more.
