I had seen a counselor for a little over a year when I was 16 years old. I had gone for I guess u could say anxiety and it was suggested by my mother. I was never given medication or diagnosed with an anxiety disorder and was completey voluntary for me to go.
Would I still be able to get a TS clearence?

Why Is It That When a Celebrity Has Mental Problems That When They Have to Get Treatment It Is Called Rehab,?
Question by Jaguar: Why is it that when a celebrity has mental problems that when they have to get treatment it is called rehab,?
but when an average person has mental problems and needs treatment, it is called ‘going to a mental institution’?
Not only that, but in the latter case much of society looks down on them, despite that many normal people simply have temporary problems with anxiety or need help dealing with the depression that the feel over the loss of a loved one.
It just seems to me that celebritys get overglorified when they go to rehab, while normal everyday people are perceived as some sort of freaks for doing the exact same thing.
The reason that I am addressing this issue, is that I took Abnormal Psychology 303 in college and the social stigma involved with mental illness in average people really seemed to stand out. ‘Going to rehab’, only appears to make entertainment celebrities more famous.
