Complete with roving gangs, mutated animals, death squads, murderous robots, disease, crazy doctors who have to do medical services but can’t get a paycheck anymore and so they now murder people in order to make a living, CEOs having to resort to being muggers and gang leaders because they can’t, death panels patrolling the heartland looking to do a little “end-of-life counseling” on whoever they come across, death, spoiled fields, cannibals, starvation, etc.?

I feel unhappy with everyday life.The things I used to enjoy I don’t care about anymore.I’ve had marriage problems and have lost desire for sex.I don’t know what I want to do with the rest of my life.If I’m not working or eating or sleeping I don’t know what to do.I only want to sleep.I’m constantly tired.I thought of going on vacation but no where seems to appeal to me at all.I only enjoy drinking sometimes but usually regret it if I drink too much.(maybe once or twice a month)What is wrong with me?

This sounds like depression. You can get help, happiness is still out there. Pick your head up and call your doctor before it gets worse.

YA people jump to the counseling mantra for every issue placed here. My question is for the people who used or are using counselors. Is it working, or did it work. Please tell your story. Remember Beverley De’Angelis (sp)? Married 5 times but she was a “licensed counselor”?

I don’t believe in counselors or psychologists. I can’t believe people are willing to pay all that money every week to have a third person listen to their problems. My husband and I have been together 5 years, married 3 years and we’ve yet to have an argument. This isn’t to say we don’t disagree on things, we simply don’t let it escalate to an argument. We talk about it, we respect each other’s opinions and we usually see eye to eye on everything.
