Travel to Canada With a Prior DUI Conviction?
Question by Eric: Travel to Canada with a prior DUI conviction?
13 years ago, while living in the United Kingdom, I got a DUI. Dumbest, most bone-headed thing I’ve ever done but it is what it is. I have had a clean driving record since. Anyway, I am a Dutch citizen and have a Dutch passport. I also moved to the United States 10 years ago (I’m a permanent resident).
I’m looking at traveling to Canada and am wondering if I need to apply for “Rehabilitation”; or if I would get turned back by Canadian Immigration, or if indeed it would even show up?

Should I Tell Colleges About My Dad’s Alcoholism?
Question by mary: Should I tell colleges about my dad’s alcoholism?
My dad has been an alcoholic for most of my life, it has effected my grades and other aspects of my life. There is a section on the common app saying, “anything else you’d like to tell us,” should I use this to explain? What should I say?
No I am applying to colleges, I am still in high school…it has effected my high school grades.

How to Migate to New Zealand?
Question by Tang Li Huan: How to Migate to New Zealand?
I’m from Malaysia, and 19 this year, will complete my “foundation” course( similar to A-levels) in April.
And planning on taking Psychology for my degree, and probably a job related to the field upon graduation.
I would like to know what are my options(or suggestions, or even opinions) on how i am able to migrate to New Zealand(awesome beautiful country!).
I remember its skills shortage list includes “education counselor”, but am not sure what course I should take to qualify being an education counselor.
Your comments are greatly appreciated.

It’s highly unlikely you’ll be allowed to emigrate to New Zealand from a 3rd world country with a common/worthless qualification such as “Psychology”.
You need something highly technical — such as Engineering.

Hello Katrina,
I believe I answer another question on Freud that you posed earlier, as such, please know -quite simply- that I’ve been a reader of Freud since my high school years and focus my undergrad research in Psychology on his theories … as such, I have a propensity -not an expertise- to try and articulate reasonable responses when it comes to questions about Freud.
I believe he was one of the first to conduct studies (systematically) on “loss.” As such, he should be given some kudos for taking on a segment of our life that most want to hide or run away from.

A Good Poem for School?
Question by watwilliswastalkinbout: A good poem for school?
I need to recite a poem for my 9th grade critical thinking class. I really want something inspirational like ‘Still I Rise’ by Maya Angelou, or ‘O Captain, My Captain’ by Walt Whitman. Although these poems are fantastic and I strongly consider reciting them, I would really like a poem that isn’t very well known and popular.
