Of what are the Ohio farm’s fields in autumn symbols in “Come Up from the Fields Father”?

of gladness for life’s bounty
of sorrow for life’s injustices
of grief for life’s end
of pride for life’s riches

would it be the second or third?
The Poem has to do with loss, if anything there’s death aswell.

Death is an ‘end’ but can be taken as an injustice of life. :s

My idea… never live with a man before marriage, know how to use birth control (there is no such thing as an accidental pregnancy). While dating if you bf strays…. stop dating him.

I have an A.A on Spanish with a certificate in Communications from a state junior college in Ca
& i am graduating in the spring with my B.A on Child, Adolescent, & Family studies with a minor on sociology from a Cal State University

& i loved the Master of Science degree in Counseling/Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy at University of Phoenix…
It’s not online, but on campus & it would take me about 2 1/2 years plus all the hours that the state requires to get certified ….
The program is state approved but with so many people saying many negative things about it, i am doubting it
It’s not expensive as people say, the cost will be below the mid 30s which is about the same at my local Cal State University
I want to be a social worker & work with families & kids and this degree would qualify me for many employers as a social clinical worker 🙂

Question by : What’s “bad counseling” ?
What would you consider “bad counseling”? Have you ever had an experience with a counselor/therapist/psychiatrist where you thought: “hey, that was pretty bad!” ??
Thank-you both for your answers… Are some counselors purposely ‘bad’ to keep buisness going, perhaps? The best counselor I had was free of charge and it has me wondering…

Bad counseling is the opposite of ‘god counseling’. A good counselor helps the client to help him or herself. A bad counselor may not be able to address the core problem and side track the main issue. Bad counselors may get judgmental and offer their own personal opinions and beliefs. They may not use the counselor pre requisites of empathy, positive regard for clients and they may not be able to help them to help themselves. They may also arouse dependence in their clients and it may be a technique to raise their own self esteem through the dependence.
Beware of bad counselors!
I’m a psychiatrist and counselor myself so I am aware of the theory behind being bad!
