me and my ex’s other ex are best friends
me and him ended on good terms an are still really good friends but they are not on speaking terms but he really did love her.

Whenever he starts dating someone new he cares about nothing but that girl and becomes a dick

the other day i found on she has leukemia and i went and asked if he knew and he was like oh “huh on no that sucks” and that was it

even if he hated this girl which he doesn’t he should care at least a little bit and it’s not “that may be how he deals with grief” he just flat out does not care

should i say something to him about what a jerk he is?

Well as you can see he’s a callous and selfish person. He lives for the moment and you should tell him about his behavior. It may not change him but he needs to hear it.
