dhs about being investigated.she said i misuse my medications and could be a harmful to them. what she’s doing is punishing me for losing her family from her own drug problems. my son has had custody for the past four yrs. when the second baby was born in 2007 he had meth and thc in him. she went to so called “rehab” and got pissed at me and said she would rather have her kids in foster care then for them to ever be with me again. i always was on her side trying to keep their family together. i’ve contacted dhs and have gotten no response. my grandbabies were here with my son last night and they cried because they couldn’t hang out with grandma. anyboby have any good ideas on how to approach this or know of some other thoughts that i would like to do with her. thanks

Advice is given once and the result is not to be reviewed.Advice is often unsolicited.
Guidance is bunch of advices. Its ongoing process for some period, to be specific till the Goal is achieved. Guidance would change after each review. Guidance always given only on request.
Counseling is totally different. Its actually explanation of real situation to a person who due to some problem unable to understand macro view of one or many incidences of life.
At times Counselling is considered a “Treatment”. However Advice or Guidance are never considered as Treatment.

I started using started using drugs about three months ago and my life is slowly but surely falling apart! I have been buying every day! My husband knows but he has no idea I am still using. I started with coke and now using meth. I have NO family close. My life has no value since the death of a loved one. I had never really bought anything till know. I have spent all of our savings, gotten loans, and borrowed from our parents. My husband is wonderful and I have been so wrong to him!! He does NOT deserve this!! I can NOT stop. Also my mother should not have to go through this! Why does meth make every thing so messed up?? I feel worthless! I know I need rehab and have told my mom and husband but they are the type that if u ignore it, it will disappear. Please give me advice. What do I tell them?? Please dont say “just go to rehab”. I already know that.
