I HAD MY DAUGHTER 14 YEARS AGO IT WAS AN OPEN ADOPTION SO I AM SOPOSED TO RECIEVE PICTURES AND A UPDATE ABOUT HER TWICE A YEAR FOR HER BIRDAY AND CHRISTMAS .. AND GUESS WHAT EVER SINCE 3 YEARS AGO I HAVENT RECIEVED ANY BECUASE THE ADOPTION AGENCY TO WHICH THE PICS AND WHAT NOT IS SENT THROUGH CLOSED DOWN AND I HAVENT RECIEVED ANYTHING ABOUT HER I WISH I COULD SO BAD I CRY ALL THE TIME CUZ I FEAR WHEN SHES 18 SHE WONT BE ABLE TO FIND OUT WHERE I LIVE AND COME MEET ME SO I CAN SEE MY DAUGHTER AND NOTHING COULD MAKE ME MORE HAPPY IN THE WORLD THEN TOO SEE HER AND NOW I WONT BE ABLE TO AND STILL HAVENT RECIEVED NO INFORMATION ON HER OR ANYTHING THE ADOPTION AGENCY JUST CLOSED DOWN TOLD ME THEY WERE CLOSING AND TOLD ME THERE IS NOTHING I CAN REALLY DO…. SO ARE THEY RIGHT IS THERE REALLY NOTHING I CAN DO HELP!!!!

I am in grade 10 right now and this whole thing started at the end of my grade 9 first semester.
IN semester 1 of grade 9, everything was great!
I had a great personality, I had allot of friends and I always had something to talk about.
After this semester ended, I never actually felt like talking again because I was never in a happy mood.
I became extremely quiet and all my friends tried to talk to me, but for some reason I couldnt maintain a conversation for more than like a minute.
In grade 10, this is still occuring.
I never feel happy, I’m always sad.
I know that I’m always like this because my social life had been destroyed.
I can’t make friends anymore, and I cannot get a girlfriend.
All my previous friends think I’m boring and not many people want top be around me.

Who Would You Recommend as a Great Couples Councilor in San Diego?
Question by cute_squeakers: Who would you recommend as a great couples councilor in San Diego?
I’m looking for a councilor who’s specialty with couples counseling especially in regards to trust. My boyfriend and I are our last thread and he is really reluctant to going to counseling, but I want to get recommendations anyway for the San Diego area or more specifically La Mesa if there is one closer.
Please just don’t choose from the yellow pages. I would prefer recommendations that they truly know if the councilor is good or not from experience or some kind of knowledge.

I really want to become a psychiatrist/ therapist, I don’t mind whether child/ adolescent or adult, I took a psychology course in high school and loved it, I found it so interesting and I would really like to help people
But I hear a lot of people take a psychology degree and don’t get any related jobs, I just moved to Tennessee and will be going to college near Knoxville
Does any one know how easy it is to get psychiatry/therapist jobs here? How would I go about achieving my goal?
Alternatively I could like an Elementary school teacher? Do you think that is a more sensible idea?
