If you’re referring to the “child and mental health services”, I’m presuming that counseling will take place. The mental health services are most likely confidential.
The site wikpedia.org has more general info re: CAMHS (albeit the site is *not* for school or professional research): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CAMHS

Answer by mikewesten
“Avoidant Personality Disorder” is a psych term used to categorise a number of behavioural traits Psychiatry considers improper or abnormal in society. Psychiatry defines these traits as a “mental illness”, and promote it as a “disease” that requires “treatment”.
If one considers certain traits to be problematic, relating to shyness or low self-worth and self-esteem, then there are variety of options one can consider without accepting Psychiatry’s BS that one has a “mental illness”, that one is “ill” and that one should reach for so-called “medication” as a so-called solution.
It’s great, then, that you wish to stay clear of Psychiatry. I would, however, consider dropping use of the term “Avoidant Personality Disorder”, as that is an invented psychiatric label that has no substance in science whatsoever.

You need to thump your doctor’s head with a baseball bat.
Here’s what to do for your high blood pressure – avoid all soft drinks and other water substitutes. These contribute to dehydration and high blood pressure is caused by chronic dehydration.
Do You Think It Is Right for a Parent to Do This?
Question by Max: Do you think it is right for a parent to do this?
I stay up late every night. It is summer vacation, and I never have any plans unless a friend calls (which happens often). My family including me, my sister, mother, and father have never had a schedule. All of sudden my mom gets mad at me saying that needs to change but just for me. She says I am hurting my body (i get 10-12 hours of sleep) and that it is making me a bad person (it is not) and when ever I try to use logic in this argument she just yells at me saying that the logic is that she’s the parent. She now says I have to be to bed at 2AM. In bed, I don’t go out, I am in the house, this is not a curfew, it is a bedtime I have never had one before, and my mom has never cared about this before tonight. Also when I tried to tell her I would be waking up past noon no matter what (I am a teenager, everyone I know sleeps this late) she became very mad. (I am in highschool btw)
I’m not a “lazy young adult” I am very active. I also through eBay and the internet make many times more money then I could with a job at my age.
Mental Health Questions.?
Question by Unknown: Mental Health Questions.?
I would like to become a Clinical Psychologists Ph.D (Work in a Hospitals/or Private Practice) would I have to have Malpractice Insurance Since I wouldn’t be a MD. Also Do you have to be an expert in Math because I hate algebra But I love solving Puzzles and figuring things out in a process. I really like Science and have a passion for it. I know you have to have Patient-Confidentiality but if a patient committed a past crime(illegal) would I be able to break that Confidentiality and report it. OR Do I report it if the patient poses danger to the patients own health or to others at the moment.
I would like to be a MD but the MCAT’s scare me as well as the Math equations of it. I would shoot for MD if I knew the Math part wouldn’t be a major issue. Is it a Major issue. I would like to be a Psychiatrist but I know its hard to get into Med School. Which would be a better route. As I said the only thing that holds me back is Math. I have the courage and passion to face any Sciences and I like helping people, I like playing mind games, and solving answers which are almost impossible to find.
