What Is the Point of Having?

Question by ? G??? ? ????s ?: What is the point of having?
Wisdom?
Rarely does another listen and/or accept ones wisdom. Once gained, what purpose does it serve for oneself? Is Spiritual wisdom for this life, or gained for the life in the hereafter?
Everyone must learn and gain their own wisdom for their own life. It is good to be wise, as we learn from the lessons in this life. We don’t (hopefully) make the same Oopsies. Some lessons learned come at a great and painful cost – those we don’t soon forget. Hence; greater wisdom.
Others admire someone for their great wisdom, especially spiritual. But truly, what can one do with it to serve a greater need other than their own?

Looking for a Christian Book on Grieving?

Question by Cera P: Looking for a christian book on grieving?
I just lost my mom to a short but very hard battle with cancer. I am 22 years old and I feel so lost without her and I have breakdowns constantly and withdrawn from just about everything. She was my best friend, I called her over 5 times every single day on days I wasn’t around her, and when she got diagnosed all we did was fight because I wanted her to have more hope (she’s a realist). I’m looking for a good CHRISTIAN book on grieving. Or anything that someone could suggest by just knowing what I have said here. I just NEED to know she is in heaven and that it truly does exist (I am a believer, but I’m in so much pain/hurt right now I can’t help but really wonder). Almost like I need some sort of reassurance. If anyone knows or anything or could suggest something I’d appreciate it.

Have You Ever Noticed How Many Questions of Late Can Be Answered by Two Simple Words, “Good Grief”?

Question by Michelle Joseph as Proserpine: Have you ever noticed how many questions of late can be answered by two simple words, “Good Grief”?
Gotta get back to my homework, but just had the thought as I was searching for a good question.
Michelle

Edit for:
Brigalow Bloke…..
No, school is still in, but the University courses require a lot of homework here in the USA.
I get lonely sometimes and find this a “safe” way to take the loneliness away.
The question was not meant to be mean…… I just noticed and thought ,”Why not ask if others have also noticed.”
Michelle

Edit for:
Bolide…….
Good point, never thought of recovering from “the night before” as a reason.
It was a half serious question, though.
Just seemed a little odd I would notice it today,
nothing of great value on my part I suppose.
