Would This Be a Licensed Childcare Facility?

Question by pottsy: Would this be a licensed childcare facility?
A company that I work for (no names obviously) hosted several “summer camps” this past summer. It’s basically just daycare. Parents would drop off the kids, who would go through activities such as bowling, video games, lunch, and lasertag, all with a “camp counselor” (a regular employee with special, additional training, and a different uniform). Does this qualify my current place of employment as a licensed childcare facility?

Answer by Doodle Bug
No. You have to have a license from the state to have a child care facility. There are a LOT of laws and government agencies that regulate day care or child care facilities. If a child were to get hurt or die in your care, you could face a very long prison sentence. Get informed before you get into trouble. Google child care laws for your state.

Do Relationship Counselors’ Own Romantic Relationships Suck?

Question by Chantelle: Do relationship counselors’ own romantic relationships suck?
I am a grad student looking to determine my field in counseling- relationship counseling inherently interests and excites me, as does family and child therapy. I am currently single and so, I have to ask anyone who is a relationship counselor, has dated one, is related to one, or is with one now, what does the professional world of being a “relationship counselor” do to your own relationships? Is it going to make my own dating life a disaster?

doesn’t the fact that your own mind questions and analyzes EVERYTHING make everything else turn out to be a disaster? I think of it like this, and ( to use professional terms ) when you make a bowel movement. would you rather that it just happens, and come natrually? Or would you rather force the issue and Push to judgement? I think if you were to relax and have a realationship, rather than micromanage a business arrangement, you can have the relationship that you want. just don’t force a square into a round hole.

Issues in Criminal Justice And/or Law Enforcement That Has Not Been Studied?

Question by man-man: Issues in Criminal Justice and/or Law enforcement that has not been studied?
I am doing a research proposal for school. I have to write a proposal on some aspect in criminal justice/ law enforcement that has not already been studied numerous times. Meaning I have to be unique and do a paper on something that is new that people can gain new knowledge from. Not information that has already been studied over and over. *This is what I cannot use* For example, I cannot do a paper on ” Child neglection causes depression” “Child abuse is associated with social problems or behavioral problems”. I cannot use those because these have been studied over and over. BUT, you can give me something like child abuse is associated with or causes………….agressive driving(Now child abuse causing someone to drive aggresively seem logical, but I dont believe it and thus I will not research this. But I am quite sure no one has ever studied this issue or concern to see if it may be correct which would make a great topic for me to study, but I am not interested in doing so. This has to be something unique and not previsouly studied tons of times). It can be something that can be tested/researched makes sense but just hasn’t been academically tested/researched. For example, if you say “walking on the ground makes the bottom of your shoes dirty” It makes sense, it happens and walking on the ground seems to be associated with a bottom dirty shoe, but has it been academically shown/tested/researched?This is what I am looking for. Remember it has to be a issue/concern in criminal Justice/ law enforcement. I hope this is clear
