What Can I Do to Be More Attractive on My College Application?

Question by Frenchi: What can I do to be more attractive on my college application?
I have a high GPA and high test scores. I’m in many AP classes and in “double-honors” math. I’m a cheerleader and I scuba-dive. I’m a model. I’m 100% fluent in French and I’ve been taking Spanish classes for a while. I went on a year long student exchange in France. What kind of summer job and volunteering opportunities should I look for? Also, any other suggestions for how I could pump some life into my college application?

Will you Marry Me. You sound perfect. Haha

The one thing that colleges like is if you have been volunteering at a facility for over a year and a half. That way they see that your dedicated to helping out whatever your helping out with.

First of all, becoming a physical therapist “assistant” does not require a 4 yr college education.

Having a BA, or BS would benefit you, but it will cost you more, and take more time, that you evidently do not have now.

The minimum requirement in most states is an AA degree (60 college hrs, takes about two years)

To become a PT, you must go to a “tech school” to learn skills of physical therapy. You must also pass a state exam, check your own state for all the requirements necessary to apply for that test.

What to Do When Someone Gets a Rage Outburst?

Question by Derpina.: What to do when someone gets a rage outburst?
I recently made a new friend I met through another friend. He’s a really sweet guy and I think we’ve been friends for a few months now.
The only thing I find it hard to cope with are his rage outbursts sometimes. He gets worked up over nothing and it suddenly takes a turn for the worst. Believe me, he’s not a violent person or anything but he gets theseoutbursts sometimes and it really scares me.
I wouldn’t mind if it was just screaming and moping but it’s worse than that. He’s a really big person (about 1,90 m or more) and he also goes to the gym like almost everyday. So when he throws these tantrums he usually doesn’t only get verbal but also physical. He’s just uncontrolable and I think he could break someone’s bones if he wanted to.
We went to the bar with friends last time, and he drank a little too much. He got mad out of no where and started throwing things and it took a few men to push him against the wall and restrain him. Even then he kept on screaming and he started crying.
And I just didn’t know what to do.
