One of the girls at work has to work with a guy who is a real slacker. She told me she’s going to give him “the lesbian treatment”. What’s that?

It probably means she’s going to get all scary on him. Lesbians tend to be known for being “manly” and “bitchy” at the same time. You really don’t want a lesbian to get in your face.

Question by erowidkid: Why do people have problems with underage drinking?
I am an eighteen year old who has been reviewing the different posts/questions regarding underage drinking. I have encountered several people who get quite upset at those of us who are alright with the issue and I thought it would be fun to see a debate on yahoo answers. Heres my opinion, I am eighteen years old have had a job since 14, two jobs since 15 and maintained a B+ gpa throughout high school. I certainly think I am mature enough and responsible enough to determine if I am capable of drinking alcohol. But even for those who are not so responsible, is it not their lives, should they not be given the option to ruin it if they please. Overall, my basic philosophy for life is that anyone should be able to do what they please as long as they do not hurt anyone else in the process. Thus I certainly do not support drinking and driving or such dangerous situations. What exactly is wrong with this philosophy.

is it really worth making my marriage work??i’ve been married for 5 years and have been having lots of problems lately. about two years ago i found out he was talking to sme chick ( MY EX BEST FRIEND!) still to this day he denies of cheating he said they were just friends, but yet wanted to divorce me! he’s in the military so i contactd his command and told them about his affair, his command talked to him and gave him orders NOT to talk to this home recker he stoped….so i think! since then we have been trying to make things work we have our good days and our really really bad days! we argue about the smallest things but blow up into huge arguements!! why?? i don’t know? we have two boys together and my heart breaks every time i think of us getting a divorce i ca’nt imagine my boys with out their dad !it truly breaks my heart!! it’s not just to stay married for the boys i do love this man. but he tells me he doesn’t love me but yet still wants me around still wants to kiss and hug me ..i’m so confused why would he want to hug &kiss me if he doesn’t want me?? i’ve asked him to try marriage counseling with me and he agrees but when ever i make appts he makes up and excuse why he can’t make it. i’m just so tired of being in this marriage by my self but i love him!! any advise pls help!”
i just don’t understand why he wouldn’t tell me he was talking to her if nothing was going on ! why keep it a secret?

Question by mommyo: Can someone with clinical, chronic depression claim disability?
A friend of mine has terrible depression that is controlled by medication. Even though it is being treated, she still has her good and bad days. It has affected everything in her life and she finds it difficult to work. The problem is made worse by the fact that employer after employer seems to see her problem as a character flaw. Can she claim for some kind of disability insurance? I know people who are on disability for other kinds of chronic illnesses. Does depression count?

Is it because they don’t want to admit that its actually a mosque commemorating the successful attack on the WTC? And muslims from all over the world will go their to praise and thank allah for allowing 9-11 to happen? They should call it the “Victory Mosque” since thats what they really consider it to be.

Question by : Dating a pain-pill addict… he has been clean 1 year… but I have doubts!! Run?
I have never even touched a drug. I started dating him a little over a year ago. He had been addicted on and off for over 6 years (he is 32). He was never happy, never had a good job and was miserable so he never got clean.

I met him… realized, it was bad… he went to rehab for 30 days. He has been in NA meetings, has a sponsor and has been clean for 9 months. Has a great job now, a nice truck, we moved in together 6 months ago and I control the money (he only gets a minimal amount in his account every week… it makes me feel better about his sobriety).
