When does “sexting” become illegal in Canada? I understand that if both or one of the people in this activity is caught with PICTURES is could be considered child pornography. However, what if the two people are underage but are just sending TEXTS could that be considered illegal in anyway?
This guy and I have been “sexting” a bit, i know its wrong and im gonna tell him that we should stop anyways , i was just curious.

It doesn’t matter that you are underage, it is still illegal to be involved in what could be considered child porn. Being underage does not allow you to do this. Child porn is child porn, regardless of the ages of the people involved.

The fact the guy is 17 and you are 15 puts this into an entirely different perspective. He’s going to be an adult soon, and he’s sexting a young teen? He’s got some serious problems ahead of him if he’s caught.
