Question by salmon: What’s the reason for Obama’s turnabout concerning gay rights?
Today the Obama administration defended the Defense of Marriage Act in a court case (www.hrc.org). The other day the administration defended don’t ask don’t tell. His campaign promises were much different. What’s the deal?

Just another politician making promises to get votes in order to win. I hope the LGBT community learned a lesson from all this.
