What Is More Important in Your Opinion; Vengeance or Justice?

Question by Golden Brown: What is more important in your opinion; Vengeance or Justice?
Why is it always the case that those who feel hate seek vengeance while those who recognize that hate and know not to heed it seek justice?

Answer by Stu147
The need for vengeance comes from anger, the need for justice comes from common sense. Anger is an emotion that rarely allows clarity of thinking, it blinds people and it gives them tunnel vision. Vengeance serves the few, justice serves the many. The idea behind a collective justice is that more people will benefit from the outcome and fewest will be damaged.
