What Does the Job Title “counsellor/psychotherapist” Mean?
Question by Anon: What does the job title “counsellor/psychotherapist” mean?
My college has a part-time counsellor. I just found out that her official title outside of college is “Counsellor/Psychotherapist.”
Does this change anything, if I were to speak to her in school premises about mental health issues?

That means she’s specialized with psychotherapy. Basically the same as counselor just more advanced, I guess. She probably knows more about certain things and help. Either that or it’s just the same as a counselor but mental health-wise. That would not change anything – in fact, it’s probably better.
