What are the requirements for counseling people in Minnesota? This would be a novel type of counseling that is not meant to treat, diagnose, or cure any disease, nor be broad enough to count as occupational therapy.

The same requirements as for palm readers and psychics. You would need a tax number so the State can get a piece of your ill-gotten gains.

You should be careful not to make people think you are a psychologist, psychiatrist, or other mental health counselor. I suppose you could present yourself as a “mentor” or “lifestyle counselor.”
