What Are the Affects of Divorce on Adult/mature Adolescence With Their Views on Marriage?
Question by Jack: What are the affects of divorce on adult/mature adolescence with their views on marriage?
In school today, my close friends and I were having a discussion about where we saw ourselves in the future. I told them that I didn’t want to get married or have children. They were shocked by this; later we started talking about divorce. My parents are divorced, and my relationship between both of them has been strained ever since. Are my views on love and marriage “corrupted” because of my experience? I must admit, at times I do contemplate about marriage and children, but I never have any success with long term relationships.

You might need professional help so you can lead a productive mature life. Just because your parents divorced does not mean you could not have a successful marriage with children. Go to church and listen carefully. A marriage should be entered into with love and respect, not lust. Be strong and have a good life. God bless.
