Question by cali55: What are some key themes in the play Angels in Ameirca?
For my script anyalsis class I have to pick a topic of interest to me and relate it to the play. I cant think of any good topic to write about. I know there alot of gay themes in it and stuff but i dont think i would right a good paper on that.lol. but if anybody has good ideas on it that would be great,,,,,

Heres an example to help:” If i wanted to write about food, i would use the play Importance of Being Earnest and reference that script well talking about my love for food in my paper…”

Well, I really think it’s important for you as an individual to figure this out but the main themes aren’t just about being gay. If you look at the figure Roy Cohn, you have a lawyer who claims to hate gays, is diagnosed with AIDS because he is gay and has to deal with the fall out of denying his homosexuality, spewing hatred about homosexuals and then he himself ending up with AIDS from unsafe homosexual sex. If you can’t find a theme in there I don’t know what else to tell you. Good luck
