Tampa Counseling – Elizabeth is a counselor and a marriage and family specialist. She has a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University. She earned a BA degree in Psychology from The University of South Florida. Mrs. Mahaney also attended the University of Tampa as a transient student and earned a minor in marketing with concentrations in athletics and personal growth. Elizabeth has managed to work with several different types of clients and organizations including; Private Practice with Dr. Jean Mulloy, Success for Kids and Families- a community based program, Kathy’s Place- a center for grieving children and families leading both adult and children’s groups, and at the Children’s Cancer Center. Elizabeth is also on the board of directors for The Tampa Bay Association for Women Psychotherapists and affiliated with several different professional organizations. She is Certified as a Master Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner and has a Ph.D in Clinical Hypnosis and is affiliated with The National Board of Professional and Ethical Standards.
