Question by Ulo B. Ject: Who’s the “Armenian guy with a history of mental health problems” in the 2010 film adaptation of Kick-As*?

In the opening scene, a man in a winged superhero outfit jumps off of a skyscraper. As he tries to fly, a crowd down below applauds his “heroism” until he crashes into the hood of a car and dies. Then, the voiceover (Dave) says “That’s not me. That’s some Armenian guy with mental health problems.” In this way the makers of Kick-Ass mock the knee-jerk desire to look upon a costumed crusader as a hero.

Question by Tourang B: Does anyone here find it ridiculous that when people don’t have an answer, they tell you to seek counseling?
I mean this is Yahoo! answers. It’s a cheap way of getting answers and others’ experiences and opinions. Why is it that some people find it necessary to respond to a question they have no answer to by typing: “Get Counseling” ? duh! everyone knows they can do that. It just costs a bit more.

Question by santa_14075: has anyone used Lucinda Bassett’s “attacking anxiety & depression” self help program? and did it help?
I have a teenager who is experiencing anxiety, depression and phobia. I have read about a self help program to deal with this. It is from the Midwest center by Lucinda Bassett and claims to do wonders. It is not a free program and before spending money I would like to hear from anyone who might have bought or used this particular program.

Personally I thought it to be expensive and it didn’t help. I have found that getting into a support group and private theraphy helped me a lot more than spending the $ 470 that I paid for the stupid program. My thought was that if it is soooo good, why didn’t they offer a money back program???

I’m so tired of living like a hypocrite.

I am a pornography addict. I have been for probably a decade and a half. On and off of course. The longest I’ve been free is just over three years.

I hate living like this. I know what the Bible says about lust after someone other than your spouse – and I believe it. I have read the entire Bible, searching for answers to this issue, but even when I think I’ve found the answers I fail anyways and fall back into the same old sin. I’ve prayed, sought God, stuck with it, done everything I know to. Every time I think something is changing, it doesn’t.
