15yo Gay Friend Has “Bipolar 1 Depression” W/ Schizophrenia & ADHD. Isn’t 400mg of Seroquel Daily Too Much?
Question by .: 15yo gay friend has “Bipolar 1 Depression” w/ Schizophrenia & ADHD. Isn’t 400mg of Seroquel daily too much?
He takes 400 mg of Seroquil daily each and EVERY NIGHT. He’s been in substance abuse rehab wice for weed, coke, meth.
Also was put in foster care for 6 months , because he had dropped out of high school for 2 semesters. His mom is a drug addict sent to jail, his stop-mom and bio-dad refuse to” take him in” so he went to foster care.
Long story short, he’s now living with stop-mom and bio dad again after he got out of foster care. h
He’s had 14 “boyfriends-of-the-month”, and countless other sex parters.
he started therapy and saw a psychiatrist once a month.
Isn’t (4) 100mg pills of the powerfil anti-psychotic medicine too much.
Isn’t 400mg taken DAILY of Seroquel.

Crisis Counseling: Family Cycle (I) – Euphoric and Dysphoric Cycles in Marriage
Despite all the fashionable theories of marriage, the narratives and the feminists, the reasons to engage in marriage largely remain the same. True, there have been role reversals and new stereotypes have cropped up. But the biological, physiological and biochemical facts were less amenable to modern criticisms of culture. Men are still men and women are still women in more than one respect.
Men and women marry for the same reasons:
The Sexual Dyad – formed due to sexual attraction and in order to secure a stable, consistent and permanently available source of sexual gratification.
The Economic Dyad – To form a functioning economic unit within which the economic activities of the members of the dyad and of additional entrants will be concentrated. The economic unit generates more wealth than it consumes and the synergy between its members is likely to lead to gains in production and in productivity relative to individual efforts and investment.

Do Conservatives Agree That Keeping Minor Drug Offenders in Prison Is a Waste of Tax Payer Money?
Question by Mister Chartreuse: Do conservatives agree that keeping minor drug offenders in prison is a waste of tax payer money?
More often, I’ll hear a conservative (normally in regard to the incarceration of some killer or rapist) say “What a waste of money. A bullet only costs 50 cents, just shoot him”.
But I never hear any calls for judicial drug policy reform from the same people. Think about how much money could be saved on the penal system if drugs were decriminalized. Now think about how much money could be made off legalizing and regulating all drugs (not to mention the plummet in gang activity and the associated savings in law enforcement decline).
We could even use the revenue to fund rehabilitation programs and deal with drug use as a societal problem rather than a judicial one – although I know how much you guys hate social programs. (The word “program” makes you physically uncomfortable, doesn’t it?)
