How to Help a Cat With the Passing of His Brother/best Friend?
Question by FortySeven: How to help a cat with the passing of his brother/best friend?
It’s killing me to type this much less think about this since I raised since they were like 3 weeks. But the biggest thing I can’t get over. Seeing him miss his brother so much. Hes roamed all day, all night looking for his brother, I want to help the poor thing so bad but I don’t know what to do, he misses his brother they slept together, ate together, and played together. It hurts me so bad but not as much as it hurts to see his brother miss still looking for his brother. They are both so young ,not even 3 years old. I’ll do ANYTHING to help this sad little cat, I just want him to be happy but I know its hard because he lost his brother.
He was an indoor cat and had EVERY shot.

Counseling is a profession which usually requires a degree in psychology, sociology, or “guidance and counseling.” Once you have finished your degree (and often, a master’s is needed), you can enter the profession by joining an existing counseling service, work in a hospital, or, as you noted, at a school. Private counseling services deal with marriage problems, psychological problems, social problems, and a whole range of issues. Eventually, you might open your own counseling office, just as a doctor or dentist sets up a private practice. There are many career choices open to you which do not involve “high school counselor.”
Is My Daughter’s Behavior Normal After a Death?
Question by Sophia: Is my daughter’s behavior normal after a death?
We had the most amazing, nicest, sweetest, most angelic cat in the world for 18 years. My daughter grew up with the angel cat for her entire life. When the angel had to be put to sleep 2 months ago, my 21 year old daughter didn’t take it well. She started smoking again (she had quit, hadn’t smoked since she was 17). She refused to talk about the situation. She stayed in her room for a week. Then she put a photo of her cat on her desk and sometimes she hugs the photo and pets it.
Is this normal or should I be worried about how my daughter is coping with this?
Barry- that was a really beautiful poem.

How Do I Become a Counsellor?
Question by Josefine: How do i become a counsellor?
I’m considering studying abroad (The US) I don’t know anything about Bachelor degrees or Master of Arts etc. I’ve read everything i could find but it doesn’t make any sense.
The educational system in Sweden isn’t the same as in the US and i’m currently studying “nursing” on a upper secondary level. I’m not sure what the equivalent of gymnasium is in America. But i do know that the most correct comparison to gymnasium is High School, only it’s a vocational education.
I would like to study at college or a university for an uncertain amount of time, but i don’t know how long i have to study and how to go about it. Do i need some sort of degree and if so, what or which?
I Pretty Much Hate My Life and I Don’t Know What to Do?
Question by Leah F: I pretty much hate my life and I don’t know what to do?
First off I’m 14 and literally hate my life. Why? Well everything just really sucks.
Home life:
I live with my mom and her boyfriend. Boyfriend is a rude control freak who even bothers my mom. But we have no money to leave. My mom can get really angry with me. She has bipolar and one moment she will be the sweet white picket fence mom and the other moment she is extremely angry and calls you names. I’m constantly told all my faults by her boyfriend. We live in a very small trailer and it can be hectic. I never have a day where all we do is laugh and smile. I used too, before my mom decided to move in with him. He’s childish and my mom clings onto him.
Can Someone Become a Counselor With a High School Diploma?
Question by Noa Bach: Can someone become a counselor with a high school diploma?
I don’t want to be in school a long time, I have over 60 college credits, and I believe that helping people is my calling. Counseling seems nice but I can’t go for a bachelor’s or master’s degree. Any way I can like train to be a counselor. Or any careers similar but not too much time in school

There are really no need for credentials unless someone sues you or the state investigates you. Until then live your dream.
