The path of addiction start much earlier on in someone’s life. Cigarettes are definitely a gateway drug and normally opens the door to cannabis. Question by Anjel: I have a question about “Babies born in addiction”?
please help me understand (if you know)…
I know what addiction is (no cure)
I know what an addict is (once one always one)
so if a baby is born in his or her mother’s addictions (crack or heroin is what I’m looking into) will the baby ALWAYS be an addict?
What I’m trying to ask is since an addict will always be an addict will a “drug baby” born into addiction always be one and if that child ever did any drugs (later in life) will it cause an automatic relapse?

Clinic to treat heroin addicts close to opening

When it comes to heroin detox one is presented with several options they can choose from for their detox. If I were planning to quit heron in the near future I would do my homework and look into the ways one can go about detoxing from heroin.

I have used several methods to recover from heroin and they all worked the problem was once I got clean I failed to have a recovery program in place which is essential if one wishes to stay clean and have any type of sobriety.

The first option I will discuss today is by far the hardest detox to accomplish unless you have medications to help you. This method is known by many as heroin cold turkey. The name actually came about long ago when old time heroin addicts used this method because they had no other options.
