How to Become a Psychiatrist?
Question by .: How to become a psychiatrist?
I really want to become a psychiatrist/ therapist, I don’t mind whether child/ adolescent or adult, I took a psychology course in high school and loved it, I found it so interesting and I would really like to help people
But I hear a lot of people take a psychology degree and don’t get any related jobs, I just moved to Tennessee and will be going to college near Knoxville
Does any one know how easy it is to get psychiatry/therapist jobs here? How would I go about achieving my goal?
Alternatively I could like an Elementary school teacher? Do you think that is a more sensible idea?

Why Does Everyone Answer Questions Here “You Need Counseling” or “You Need a Doctor”?
Question by Just Me Being Me: Why does everyone answer questions here “you need counseling” or “you need a doctor”?
DO NOT MISUNDERSTAND, I get how useful and helpful a therapist can be and I get how sometimes there are medical conditions that need a doctor’s review but what happened to hard work? What happened to putting in the effort to make things work and putting yourself out of your comfort zone? What happened to honesty and truth and reality?

How Should I Conclude My Research Paper on Psych?
Question by RoXie: How should i conclude my research paper on Psych?
This is what i have so far but i dont necessarily like it
Psychology or counseling , is a field with great honors. These honors mostly go unnoticed but it is the little things that count such as being there to listen. Psychology, the study of the mind and behavior, is still a field that I am highly interested in. After researching psychology I have decided I still want to pursue the field. Psychology is a occupation that can make a difference. It is not only the study of the mind and behavior, but it helps cultivate the maturing process in one’s life.

You repeat “psychology” too many times. I think you should not say “psychology OR counseling”….does not sound right. JUst say psychology, if that’s what you wrote about because a degree in psychology does not neccesarily mean you will be counseling.
You also repeated “the study of the mind and behavior” …one must go!!
