Question by Blue Hawaii: How to find a “community” rape therapist?
Like I’ve said before in one of my questions, I was molested but I haven’t gotten help. I don’t know how the whole therapist thing works out but I can’t pay for anything like that. My questions are: Where can I find a rape crisis center/therapist/counselor/group therapy thing where I hopefully won’t have to pay a million dollars? I’m a teen and I can’t count on my family to pay any of it. How can I go about getting help without thinking that the therapist will “take over” my life? How does therapy/counseling/group therapy work? What are some other less common forms of help? Thanks!
