Question by : Help With Court System and Forced Psychiatric “Treatment”?
My mother and I (I’m 17 years old) have had issues for a while, these mainly stem from her inability to be a “decent” mother. She tries to prevent me from having a life, she doesn’t allow me to go anywhere without her except school. I’m not even allowed to have a driver’s permit, much less a license.

About a month ago, I had the bright idea to try to prove a point to her. I took a few of her pills that she sells (instead of takes). I researched them on three separate websites, including government websites. I was contempt in my belief that the dosage I was planning to take would only make me sick (so that I could possibly scare some sense into her), I was/and still am positive that the dosage I took would not kill me. (It was 3mg of Clonazepam).

There are many places and organizations where you can find a good crystal meth rehab counselor. One option is to go to your local Narcotics Anonymous meeting and ask your peers about counselors. Find out who used an outpatient facility or sober living house or ask those who went the route of inpatient therapy. Find someone who is certified in addiction counseling or who has a great deal of experience, particularly with crystal meth rehab. With it being such a difficult drug to recover from, you need a counselor who is aware of your needs and can help you on the path to recovery.

Many people need much more than just a counselor for crystal meth rehab. You often need to have multiple people helping you get better from your addiction. In inpatient treatment, you will have an inpatient treatment counselor, a group therapy counselor, a social worker and people who help you physically recover from this extreme addiction. This can also be done as an outpatient, at a detox facility, at a sober living home or halfway house. Statistically, the less supervision you have, however, the greater is the chance of relapse.
