How to Deal With Grief: Dont Arguments Out of Emotion Prove Atheists Points?
Question by Dillicious: Dont arguments out of emotion prove atheists points?
When you hear someone say “How can death be the end, that seems sad”
or “what is the point in being born if you cease to exist after you die”
or “how do atheists deal with personal grief”
In no way, shape, or form do any of these statements make the possibilty of a god more real, or improve the chances that there is a god.
So when people use these, are they not just supporting the case that religion is a crutch?
So if you cannot accept the concept that there is no afterlife because it does not guarantee a happy ending, then arent you proving the atheists right by only accepting what you want to be true, not what may actually be true?
