Along with the physical side of Gerocise, there are also spiritual (meditation/prayer) and mental (counseling, particularly crisis, suicide, and grief) components as well. Having earned my Bachelors in Science with a concentration in Rehabilitation and Gerontology Counseling and a Masters in Education with a concentration in Community Counseling, both Hurricanes Katrina and Rita survivors have benefitted from my Gerocise program, as well. Holistic wellness has been maximized! The sole purpose of this book: you will be empowered. You will take an introspective look. You will begin to rebuild and reconnect intrapersonally.
