ive always wanted to work with criminals. juvenile or adult. Ive always wanted to council them and talk to them about what they did and changing. what kind of job is this? what do i need to major in for college?

If you mean “counsel,” there are such jobs. Most common is that of a probation or parole officer. In addition, there are alcoholism counselors and therapists and same for drug addicts. Some combination of criminal justice, social work and psychology seems appropriate. To be a counselor in most states requires at least a masters degree. To be a probation officer usually requires only a bachelors.

I am being charged with domestic violence, aggravated assault class 4 felony in AZ. i was unable to afford a lawyer so one was appointed to me. it has been 3months and next month i have a pretrail hearing and im terrified i will go to jail. i did not hurt anyone.
im 21 and this is my first offense. i dont want to go to jail and loose everything i have because me and my gf got into a argument that i see now was petty. she has agreed to go to couples counseling with me but we cant do that if i go to jail plus we have a no contact order. i was wonder if i ask my lawyer to speak to the judge and prosecutor about counseling or anger management will that save me from going to jail.? i am scared everyday i will go to jail because of this. i have had two panic attacks and im trying to stay sane. what can i do??? this is my first offense, they have a gps monitor on my leg and iam on curfew which states i have to be at my apt at 10pm.
please no rude comments, i have already recieved enough hell in 3months. i may loose my job, my apartment, my car, my family etc. the only thing i have not lost is my gf and iam grateful for that.
please if anyone has been in this situation in AZ please give me advice
