Question by Jeni Wall: Should i adopt a 6th child? Ive never adopted before….?
Okay heres what happened:

I have 4 great kids and 1 on the way but recently i was told there is a 4 year old up for adoption in our area. My friend is planning on adopting one of the 3 kids and wanted to know if i could adopt one. I said of course not i am expecting my 5th. But she took me anyway to meet the kids there was a twelve year old and then the 4 year old named Holly who seemed so sweet and i think it might be to much for my family but my husband and other children came as well and all surpriselying loved her. I was thrilled that Courtlyn my oldest liked her as well! But heres the thing 6 kids is alot….My husband and i have great jobs and we are fine on money and everything we have a house to hold many people but i dont know if adding another kid would cause crazyiness I have never adopted a kid before and i think its sweet to do. I just think its great because shes 4 and i have a 4 year old and she seems like a great match for my family. I am going to quit my job anyway since im expecting my 5th rite now so thats not my problem. I have lots of money saved and my husbands salary so thats not a problem its just i dont want my family to get upset and i dont want to regret not getting her.

Also her name is Holly and all my other kids have names that end in lyn so could that be a problem???

Please give me honest answers. My kids love her my husband thinks its a great idea but im worried after having her for a month the fun will fade….My kids are 12,10,7,4 and im expecting one in a month and a half.

Additional Details
I use to foster before i had my 1st child so i have had all the checks and am qualified….Also my friend thinks she can only afford and handle 1 child which i dont think is true but thats what i was told and its her desicion not mine.
I think shes good for my family and i dont care about no time for myself im just concerned how holly would feel if she had all siblings who were not adopted
Maritime Mummy to 2 Little Imps! -What on earth??? Fake family? Anyway im not adopting Holly because the foster home she is in now decieded they will adopt her and her siblings! At least i know she is safe!

it really depends on how the kid is. does she have good behavior. does she need any medicine to help her? kids are alot of money. but i heard you have enough money for her. so if you wanna adopt her then go for it. but just be aware having alot of kids means you dont have alot of free time for you and yourself. you gotta feed them and give them clothes and give them some gifts sometimes. so good luck
