Safe Crossing Foundation: A leader in funding children’s grief counseling and education services – Safe Crossings Foundation funds children’s grief counseling and education services provided by the Safe Crossings Program throughout the greater King County, Washington area. Since its creation in 1989, Safe Crossings has helped over 20000 children cope with the terminal illness or loss of a loved one. The program provides one-on-one counseling and education, school grief groups, parent-child evening groups, a weekend summer camp, and professional education about children’s grief.
