I have been thinking for some times whether or not to pursue a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. So I would like to ask you guys some questions about this helping profession.

1. What is the similiarity between a Rehabilitation Counselor and Employment Counselor?

2. Let’s say I have an M.A. in Rehabilitation Counseling and after working several years at an employment agency what should I do to start my own staffing & consulting firm?

3. If I want to become a certified employment interviewer and certified staffing professional after finishing the M.A. in Rehabilitation Counseling I want to know where should I look for the availability of these certifications?

4. Statistically how much do Rehabilitation Counselors make?

I’m taking up psychology and I was just wondering whether there are any alcohol rehabilitation centers here that will allow me to be an intern for them. I could probably do a little counseling and help out. I want to find alcohol rehabs so that I can get information regarding their qualifications since I also plan on being an addiction counselor after I graduate.
