Psycological Ways to Fix Depression?
Question by C-roy: psycological ways to fix depression?
I’m bipolar, and have been taking medicine, but recently I decided to make a change, and not think to seriously into the thoughts, and I would move on. It is very hard for me to do it and it was like i was addicted to being depressed and went through a withdrawl time.
I really feel like this is just a mindset.
What are psycological ways to fix depression? If you really just stay positive can you beleive that this wont happen that bad? Is this the medicine or is it just the change I decided to make?

“If you really just stay positive can you beleive that this wont happen that bad?”
Definitely!
Depressed people feel burned out about the future. They are sure that nothing good will ever happen.
In general, they:
–> Exagerate minor feelings
–> Ignore or discount positive events
–> Interpret any little thing that goes wrong as evidence that nothing will ever go right.
So, if you’d like to avoid depression, you have to NOT see yourself as worthless and unlovable when you’re sad or grieving.
That’s what emotionally healthy people do.
Good Luck to you bro!
