Sexual Abuse Training/counseling for Asian Children Is There Such Thing?
Question by Valerie: Sexual abuse training/counseling for Asian children is there such thing?
I am answering some interogatories and one of the questions is do I have special training for counseling sexually abused asian children. I have to answer no, but is there training(the children are Asian (father vietnamese, mother Cambodian,) but the children are US citizens and speak English, eat American food, have no ties to their culture. I have not heard of a specialized training for just Asian counseling, if there is such a specialty I think it is made up. So, if it does exist, where is the school located?
Answer #1 yes I am of that opinion as well, but the question is: Is there such a training anyway? I thik it is a jack-azz question by smart attorneys but I want to be able to answer no, it does ot exist. But I don’t want to say that and be wrong.
