I Am 27, What Am I Supposed to Do if Social Security Runs Out?
Question by we must stop the killing: I am 27, what am I supposed to do if social security runs out?
I don’t see myself making a ton of money. So if social security runs out what am I supposed to do? Be homeless? Starve? Shoot myself? I can’t work till I’m 100, my body most likely won’t let me.

Keep paying, soon the rate will increase and you can feel better. Every working person will eventually have to work till death to support the few that choose not to work. Vote the bums out.

How Do I Get Over My Dog Killing My Other Dog?
Question by : How do I get over my dog killing my other dog?
I have many dogs, actually 9. I was only very attached to one which is a corgi, and he killed my other dog, a chihuahua, yesterday. I didn’t want to see what I looked like, but now I’m getting really emotional. My mom decided she had to put down the corgi.. He has fought with my other dogs before and she wants to make sure this never happens again with anyone. I don’t know how to get over my favorite dog being put down, I don’t want to do anything or eat anything. It’s sickening to think he actually killed my other dog. I wasn’t attached to the other dog but I still am affected. I just need some advice, and please don’t say it’s wrong to put him down.. It’s not my decision and in the back of my head I know it’s what we have to do. All of this happened so quickly I don’t know how to feel.
Looking for Reassurance… Will the Psychiatric Treatment Center Help Me?
Question by Exhilarating, isn’t it?: Looking for reassurance… will the psychiatric treatment center help me?
I’ll keep this as short as possible. Due to abuse and other unfortunate events in my life I’ve developed anxiety, OCD, and depression. I tried battling this on my own for nearly two years. It’s done nothing but get worse. It is ruining my college classes, I can hardly function some days when I have a little girl to raise, I am mentally incapable of properly raising a kid in the condition im in, its ruining my relationships, and my future career as a nurse. It is ruining everything!
Ive been trying therapy (CBT) for months with little progress. Im too scared to take medication (one of my phobias) for fear they will make me worse because some have in the past. Im too afraid to take them on my own, especially when I have a kiddo with me.
Have Any of You Watched That Show Called “Intervention”?
Question by Grandma: Have any of you watched that show called “Intervention”?
Most of those people they talk into going for treatment are sober for awhile after and start back up, then they advertise for more people to come forward for help. It doesn’t look very successful. It looks like there’s a big failure rate. What do you think of that show? And is the failure rate usually that high?
Best answer:
Answer by E-ma
I have seen the show.
I think the biggest problem with the failure rate is that these people are not ready to quit when they are sent to rehab.
I know that for abused spouses, the national average for leaving an abusive relationship takes 7 attempts. (They love the abuser, hate being abused.)
So I think it would be the same or higher when trying to leave an addiction that makes someone feel good.
