Who Would You Recommend as a Great Couples Councilor in San Diego?

Question by cute_squeakers: Who would you recommend as a great couples councilor in San Diego?
I’m looking for a councilor who’s specialty with couples counseling especially in regards to trust. My boyfriend and I are our last thread and he is really reluctant to going to counseling, but I want to get recommendations anyway for the San Diego area or more specifically La Mesa if there is one closer.
Please just don’t choose from the yellow pages. I would prefer recommendations that they truly know if the councilor is good or not from experience or some kind of knowledge.

Are These Normal Questions for a Drug Counselor to Ask?

Question by sure.: are these normal questions for a drug counselor to ask?
today i went to see some drug counselor for an addiction to coke and weed. well he started asking some seriously personal questions that i dont understand why. he asked me “if i were to observe you at the mall would you be more likely to check out guys or girls” [im a straight 16 year old boy btw] then asked me “so do you look at pornography? what kind do you look at? do you masturbate to it?”
wtf does that have to do with getting counseling? it made me really uncomfortable. i told my mom and she was just like “hes doing his job”.
is asking me that normal?

Question by Chels: I’m a cutter?
I have told my freinds. Some of my freinds don’t really mind nor care cuss they are cutters 2.But I also have a lot of freinds who don’t cut and do say its bad.I WANT 2 stop, but I just can’t.I never knew I would have become addicted, or I would have never started.I think a freind of mine is kinda sick of it.He has been like a theripist 2 me.And somtimes I seem very stronge and like I’m getting better. But somtimes I just break down and he has said it seems like I’ve learned nothing.I try and try.Its not easy!I just feel like he’s getting tired of it.Like he thinks I should have already stopped by now.Is he doing the right thing?Or not?Is it MY fault?
