i have suffured with this disorder for years. Since high school – im now in my 30s. I this year diagnosed myself with Bipolar. Has this happend to any1 – that u realize u have a 2nd diagnosis? – (that u r now both) — Actually i should say – that u now HAVE both) ?

Debi: Yes added lamictal for bipolar. Now dnt let the drs. assume your mg level from the started kit alone. I am on 40mg.

Question by sam: Do Wellspan Behavioral Health “Early Recovery Groups” Drug Test?
I got a DUI last July and as part of my punishment I was ordered to get a CRN and drug and alcohol evaluation to determine if I needed any “counseling” or to attend group therapy. My therapist at Wellspan Behavioral Health told me that basically anyone who gets a DUI is required to attend some sort of counseling. She put me in what is referred to as Early Recovery Group Therapy because she felt it was just a mistake that I made and I do not have an alcohol problem (haven’t drank since the DUI). The group therapy is weekly one hour long sessions. I was under the impression that I would be getting drug tested (no one said this to me, I just kind of assumed). I have been to 2 meetings so far and have yet to be drug tested or see anyone else get drug tested. It seems like we just talk things out and discuss addiction and yada yada yada. I’m basically just asking if anyone has experience with these courses and can tell me if they do in fact drug test? Once again, I am attending the EARLY RECOVERY group sessions at Wellspan Behavioral Health. Thanks guys!
oh! and i’m not sure if this makes a difference but the group therapy is for 12 weeks – 12 sessions 🙂
I am asking because regardless of whether or not I do drugs I would like to know if I am being drug tested…. SO CRAZY RIGHT. If you don’t have an actual answer to my question, don’t answer it! Thanks 🙂

Question by iiB IL A zZz IE: How do i taper off a 10-15mg per day xanax addiction? Please help ?
I have been taking anywhere from 10mg to 15mg of xanax EVERY day for the past 6 months (some days upwards of 20mg) and REALLY want to cut down severely and get off them. I take these for recreational use, i.e. to get high. Yes i know, bad choice and very stupid. I take 4-6 mg every morning when i get my day started, then usually take another 1-2 mg throughout the day, then at night time i take anywhere from 6-8 mg. Some days i will eat up to 15mg of xanax at once plus the 4-6 i’ve already eaten that day, yet that doesnt even get me high much. Dont get me wrong, i get high but nowhere near what should happen taking that much. Im done trying to get high on them, i just want to be off of them for good. Any help with this is GREATLY appreciated, and thanks in advance for any replies!

I have that pretty bad, it’s probably why I have no friends, no social life, I drink alone and probably also the reason why I spend so much time on here and got that orange thing beneath my name. It depends on how bad he has it, what specific problems he has, and what degree of experience he has with people and relationships (as well as any underlying instability/insecurity issues.)

It’s difficult for us to say though, as we don’t know the guy.
