Question by Goat ? Shibas and SBTs: People who have gone to”couple’s counseling”: Does it work?
I don’t need it, at least not yet haha… but I’ve heard several people say that it doesn’t work. Granted, the people I’ve heard say this OBVIOUSLY need it and that’s their excuse for not going… but I’ve heard a few different people say this:

Couple’s Counseling only works as long as you go. It keeps the situation “under control” but as soon as you stop going everything goes to hell again.

So I would like the opinion of people who HAVE gone. Did it work for you? If it did/does, are you still going? If you stopped going, why?

During the mass-suicide, when members apparently cried, Jones counseled “Stop this hysterics. This is not the way for people who are Socialists or Communists to die. No way for us to die. We must die with some dignity.”

At the end of the tape, Jones concludes: “We didn’t commit suicide, we committed an act of revolutionary suicide protesting the conditions of an inhumane world.”
