My Sons Ex-Girlfriend Reported That I Am Unsafe to Be Around My Grandsons, I Haven’t Heard a Thing From?

Question by bvfarrington: my sons ex-girlfriend reported that i am unsafe to be around my grandsons, i haven’t heard a thing from?
dhs about being investigated.she said i misuse my medications and could be a harmful to them. what she’s doing is punishing me for losing her family from her own drug problems. my son has had custody for the past four yrs. when the second baby was born in 2007 he had meth and thc in him. she went to so called “rehab” and got pissed at me and said she would rather have her kids in foster care then for them to ever be with me again. i always was on her side trying to keep their family together. i’ve contacted dhs and have gotten no response. my grandbabies were here with my son last night and they cried because they couldn’t hang out with grandma. anyboby have any good ideas on how to approach this or know of some other thoughts that i would like to do with her. thanks

Unless you have went to court, or have been investigated by social services/child protective services, an you were found to be harmful to the kids….you are okay to be around them. Her saying you aren’t doesn’t make it so.
Why would you just go on what she said? Unless someone with some authority told me to stay away, I wouldn’t.
