Question by Marcus: What Jobs Are There In “Crisis Counseling”?
I am currently a clinical psych major and am interested in doing some sort of crisis counseling (handling suicide attempts, self-harm, extreme depression, etc.) What sort of jobs are available for this? (Non-volunteer jobs.)

To be hired for true crisis counseling you will need more credentials and a license. Crisis counseling can be part of a life or death situation so hiring a non-licensed person to do it increases the risk to the consumer, the risk of liability to the agency, and its probably illegal as well. You may be able to get a case management job at a non-profit like a women’s center, rape crisis center, or homeless shelter that doesn’t require a license. You will get invaluable experience there.

Question by divinemadness: Am I going crazy? Why does my boyfriend make me feel this way, whats happening to us??
I think im losing my mind. We’ve been together for over 5 years, lived together for 4. Im losing my darn mind. Its like anymore he makes me feel like everything I do is wrong. And that when he asks to jump, i should say how high. thats how i feel. but then i tell him this and he says i act that way towards him, that i make him feel like hes wrong about everything and that im better than him, he says I put total fault about everything on him, but i feel its the other way around…he says i blame him for stuff and put myself above him..when I feel that i dont, i look at us as equals, and do everything he asks of me. Im very confused and not sure what to say or do, so i just said u know what ur right im wrong, and thats the end of it. i dont know what to do??? what is happening here? he says hes changed for me and i havent changed for him…but i have…i feel i have…i dont know whats going on…im so confused, i feel like im losing my mind..is he right? am i the bad guy???
