Mayo Clinic Nicotine Dependence Residential Treatment Program: Deborah’s Experience – The Mayo Clinic Nicotine Dependence 8-Day Residential Treatment Program is an intensive program for people who have not been effectively treated with less intensive interventions. If you are one of those persons that has “tried everything” this program was designed for you. The program provides residential treatment in a protected, smoke-free environment. Participants stay on the Mayo Medical Center campus throughout the program under the supervision of our professional staff. The Program will address your dependence upon tobacco, combining the best research in human behavior and medicine to help you quit. Classroom lectures, group therapy, individual therapy, and wellness sessions are all a part of your treatment, but the effectiveness of the treatment is dependent upon what you bring to the program.
