It’s Recovery Time – This historic video reveals the nation’s first community recovery effort led by Rev. Cecil Williams of Glide Church, into one of the deadliest housing projects in San Francisco. The effort was so successful it has been replicated nationwide. The highlight of the video is when a drug lord from the housing project comes forward to join this collaborative experiment made up from many government and social service agencies under Rev.
